Using MoldFlow simulations we create the basis which guarantees the perfect processing of all materials, even those which are technically demanding.

PRESSURE LOSS CALCULATION

For technically demanding materials, we calculate the pressure loss of the hot runner systems in advance in order to ensure the manufacturability of your articles.

NUMBER OF INJECTION POINTS

Using simulation, we are able to select the position and the number of injection points in advance as far as possible.

TEMPERATURE BEHAVIOR

Our hot runner systems are optimally designed for uniform heat balance during operation.

RETENTION TIME

For materials with a critical retention time, we calculate the system throughput in advance in order to meet the requirements of the material manufacturers.

CASCADE CONTROL

Products with long flow paths are filled via a cascade control, which we already simulate in the system design.

MATERIAL DATABASE

We have an extensive material database and can therefore perform all simulations with the exact selected plastics.

MULTI-COMPONENT INJECTION MOLDING

In the simulation of multi-component injection molding, our calculations are able to depict the exact friction behavior of the various plastics in the injection molding process. It is therefore not assumed that the plastic flows along a steel surface, but rather on a component which has already been injected before. As a result, our pressure loss calculations and flow path simulations are also extremely precise in multi-component injection molding.

CONFLUENCES, WELD SEAMS

When determining the number and location of the injection points, we also pay attention to critical functional areas of your product. Thus, as seen in the above example, weld seams are of course avoided in the area of film hinges.
