MANIFOLD SYSTEMS

Constrained installation conditions, color changes in one shot, individually controllable nozzles, lateral and/or multiple injection, an optimal design of the system with regard to hold time and throughput volume: we know your requirements in daily practice. Through the flat construction of manifolds, we keep the installation space for the hot runner system very small and create space for your ideas and your mold design.

DEFLECTORS

Well-developed deflection elements and sealing contours guarantee trouble-free production without leaks. Through the use of the deflection elements perfect melt flow without dead corners is possible.

COMPRESSION CREEP LAPPING

Each hot runner system is compression creep lapped by a special process prior to delivery. This elaborate procedure smooths all melt channel surfaces and results in a more gentle processing of the melt.

BALANCING

Shear-induced heat and melt orientation are taken into account in the design of the channel and balanced to achieve the best possible uniformity in the filling studies.
Our hot runner manifolds are also fully hydraulically balanced wherever possible

INSULATION

Each hot runner is always insulated with stainless steel on both sides.

The reflective surface on the inside emits radiant heat back to the manifold and saves energy.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The use of heaters with a rectangular cross-section produces a much higher contact surface than the use of round cross-sections. As a result, we are able to heat the manifold more effectively and with less energy consumption than commercially available systems.

TEMPERATURE PROFILE

A perfectly coordinated heating system on both sides of the manifold achieves a perfectly uniform temperature throughout the manifold system. Energy BLOCKERS® reduce the energy dissipation into the injection mold and increase homogeneity in the manifold.

Wear parts in the hot runner manifold are designed as small, cost-effective components, which can be exchanged as required during maintenance.

MANIFOLD CONTOURS

In addition to the commercially available formats, manifold contours are possible in almost all geometries. Using simulation we can also calculate and plan balancing and heating in the case of failed geometries.
