The R8 touchscreen controller is characterized by a mobile tower housing and a 19" touchscreen that can be positioned independently. The R8, as the flagship model of our hot runner controller, impresses with perfect control parameters, comprehensive functionality and maximum user-friendliness for systems with 42 to 120 zones.
Convenient input and operation using the 19" touch display with magnetic base. The screen can be attached directly to the injection molding machine using a 5 m or 10 m cable without drilling.
No matter where in the world you want to operate the R8, the most common languages are already pre-installed. The standard possibility of star/delta switching makes operation in the European and American power grid possible ex works.
The hot runner controller fully automatically determines the perfect control parameters for each zone of the hot runner system as the system heats up. The PID parametrics, which are specially tailored to our MONOLITH® nozzles, reduce the overshooting and undershooting of the ACTUAL temperature to the setpoint to an absolute minimum and thus keeps your process stable and energy-saving.
This function ensures the longevity of the heaters, even if the tools have been stored for a long time. Furthermore, the tightness of the so-called floating systems is ensured in the heating-up phase through the compound heating.
A signal box is supplied for the test and retraction of servomotors and cascade, which simulates a signal from the injection molding machine and thus makes the adjustment in the assembly of the injection molding tool possible.
The LED strip can be seen from a distance from three sides and shows the operating status of the controller in color at all times.
